Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Organizer to join our team at One&Only The Palm in Dubai. In this role, you will oversee the coordination and execution of all sports activities at the resort, ensuring that our guests experience top-tier recreational services. You will manage the sports facilities, maintain equipment, and collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and oversee all sports and recreational activities for guests, ensuring a fun and engaging environment.
  • Maintain all sports areas and facilities to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare and arrange necessary equipment for various sports activities, ensuring availability and functionality.
  • Coordinate buggy services for guests and participants to access sporting facilities.
  • Ensure that all guests are informed about available sports activities and encourage participation.
  • Monitor and manage guest usage of sports facilities to avoid overcrowding and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Assist with planning and promoting special sports events and tournaments.
  • Collaborate with the recreation team to innovate and introduce new sports programs and activities for guests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving any concerns related to sports and recreation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a secure environment for all sports activities.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities, coordinating necessary repairs or replacements.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury resort or five-star hotel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sports activities simultaneously.
  • A true passion for sports and fitness, with an outgoing and energetic personality.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing guest needs.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards for sports facilities and equipment.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.

 

Level of Education:
Diploma or certification in sports management, recreation, or a related field is preferred.

 

Work Hours:
Full-time, with flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

 

Experience in Months:
Minimum of 24 months of experience in organizing and managing sports activities in a luxury hospitality setting. Middle East/GCC experience is a plus.
