Job Summary:
Supervise kitchen staff, ensure proper food presentation, and maintain food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assist cooks with food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and ensuring high-quality presentation.
- Monitor stock levels, kitchen supplies, and maintain logs for food safety.
- Communicate menu specials and out-of-stock items to Food & Beverage staff.
- Assist in hiring, training, and managing kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
- Maintain professionalism in appearance, communication, and confidentiality.
- Perform additional tasks as required, including addressing guest needs and supporting team goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
- Related Work Experience: 4 to 6 years in a relevant field.
- Supervisory Experience: Minimum 2 years.
- License or Certification: None.
