Job Summary:      Looking for a Shop Attendant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

  • Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional way, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable in the shop
  • Provide product information, answer inquiries and offer recommendations to customers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, including shelves, displays as well as product arrangement
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking merchandise as needed to ensure product availability
  • Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts as well as special offers to effectively communicate them to customers
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet sales targets and achieve customer satisfaction goals
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex problems to the appropriate supervisor or manager when necessary
  • Offer general assistance around the shop, including administrative and technical tasks
  • Assist in receiving and unpacking shipments, verifying the accuracy of delivered products and ensuring proper storage
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Ensure workers and technicians have the tools necessary to complete their assigned tasks
  • Assist with shop loading and work kit preparation
  • Perform general shop maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, organizing supplies as well as arranging displays
  • Conduct any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

  • The applicant must have a business related background
  • Previous experience in sales required
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions as well as inventory management
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating totals
  • Must be familiar with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
