Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Waiter/Waitress for Cala Vista Restaurant at Jumeirah Mina Al Salam. The role involves providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction in line with Jumeirah's luxury hospitality values.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the workflow and sequence of service during dining periods, providing hands-on support to the team.
  • Deliver knowledgeable, friendly, and professional service to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to service sequence, timeframes, and standards as per the F&B SOPs.
  • Anticipate guest needs, including those with special requirements, offering suitable products and services.
  • Proactively upsell and enhance the guest experience, showcasing deep knowledge of the resort and its offerings.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback, escalating to the Outlet Manager if necessary.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu and F&B procedures to address guest inquiries accurately.
  • Assist in the training and coaching of junior staff to ensure service standards are consistently met.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position within a 5-star hotel, luxury restaurant, or upscale bar.
  • Proficiency in food and beverage systems such as Micros and Sevenrooms.
  • Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering high-quality guest experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, with additional training in hospitality preferred.

Work Hours:
Full-time, flexible hours based on operational needs.

Experience in Months:
24 months (2 years) in a comparable role within luxury dining or hospitality.
