About the Job:

 

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive to join Learning & Development in Wild Wadi. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

 

Ensuring that the business unit is applying Jumeirah Learning and Development Processes and standards in a way that is consistent with other business units and is adopting best practice wherever identified

Conduct the Annual Learning Needs Analysis, developing the Annual Training Plan, Annual Departmental Budget and conducting the Annual Training Evaluation

Ensuring that Wild Wadi Waterpark is meeting Regional and business unit training targets and objectives

Facilitate effective training on a range of subjects, with a focus on:

Induction programs( Welcome program, Induction plans)

Supervisory Development Curriculum

On the Job Trainer

Regularly meet, coach, support and motivate UAENs to ensure they are supported and developed as required to their job role

Design and develop training sessions and activities that satisfy identified operational needs within the business unit.

Manage and develop the Learning and Development Administrator and Coordinator

Liaise with external training providers to organize training for the individual or organisational development needs identified

Communicate information about training events in a timely and professional manner to ensure the business is kept up to date

Represent the Learning and Development team and the business unit at internal and external meetings/workshops when authorised by the Director of Human Resource

 

About you:

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

 

Minimum 1 year supervising or managing a team (any discipline)

Competent to assist in the delivery of management training and group/team trainer workshop under the direction of Director of Human Resources

Experience working in UAE

Fluent in English – written and spoken

Intermediate level - Microsoft Office applications

Manage and execute multiple projects or deliverables simultaneously
