Job Summary:      Looking for a Senior Accountant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Oversee general accounting operations of the company through controlling and verifying financial transactions
• Analyze accounting as well as internal control and implement improvements as necessary
• Monitor daily, weekly as well as monthly operating cash flows
• Evaluate financial information and summarize financial status
• Present error-free accounting reports to the management
• Post and reconcile accounts payable as well as receivable
• Manage activities of external auditors
• Undertake any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or its equivalent
• Should have practical experience working as a chief or senior accountant, accounting supervisor, financial controller or a related position
• Good knowledge of local accounting rules, regulations, policies as well as procedures required
• Must be able to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
• Ability to work with the accounting software
• Must be able to meet work deadlines
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting procedures required
