Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The Room Attendant will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, linen rooms, and cupboards in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  • Replenish guest supplies, including toiletries, linens, and other amenities.
  • Maintain adequate stock supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
  • Identify and report any damage or malfunction in hotel rooms or public areas.
  • Maintain a daily room checklist to track cleaning progress and ensure all tasks are completed.
  • Promptly report and submit lost and found items to the designated department.
  • Monitor and report unusual behavior or activities on guest floors to the supervisor.
  • Carry out valet services as required, including the delivery of linens and processing of laundry orders.
  • Assist in training new team members on housekeeping standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to guests.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of housekeeping tasks and cleaning procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
