Job Summary:
The Revenue Coordinator is responsible for supporting the hotel's revenue management function by preparing and analyzing occupancy forecasts, managing inventory controls, and optimizing pricing strategies across all channels. This role focuses on ensuring revenue maximization through the effective use of business intelligence tools, competitor analysis, and market trend monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Forecasting and Analysis:
- Prepare weekly and monthly occupancy and average rate forecasts using business intelligence and revenue management tools.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and demand fluctuations to adapt pricing tactics accordingly.
- Inventory and Channel Management:
- Ensure optimal inventory control for both individual (FIT) and group bookings across all distribution channels.
- Monitor business shifts and manage third-party retail channels, ensuring consistent rate parity and optimal online presence.
- Revenue Optimization:
- Implement and monitor Daily Pricing Strategies (DPS) and make recommendations for pricing strategy adjustments.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on business intelligence tools and data mining solutions for improved revenue performance.
- Collaboration and Training:
- Liaise with Front Office, Sales, Marketing, and Reservations teams to ensure accurate data collection and input for analysis.
- Conduct regular training on marketing standard codes and the importance of data accuracy for revenue analysis.
- Reporting and Presentation:
- Prepare reports, slides, and data for revenue meetings, re-forecasting, and analysis of the hotel’s financial performance.
- Provide external market intelligence using tools like Competitive Intelligence, Rate View, and corporate resources.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to hotel policies on health, safety, hygiene, and fire regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all revenue management procedures and support technical tools used in the strategic marketing process.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in revenue management systems, and knowledge of distribution strategies.
- Experience in working with business intelligence tools, competitor analysis, and pricing optimization.
Level of Education:
- University degree in Strategic Marketing, Finance, or Hospitality/Tourism Management preferred.
Work Hours:
- Full-time, with flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum 24 months of relevant experience in revenue coordination or a related role.
