Job Summary:

The Restaurant General Manager at Hakkasan will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and seamless service. This role involves managing staff performance, controlling costs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining brand standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily restaurant operations, maintaining high service and quality standards.
  • Develop and train team members, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
  • Oversee food and labor costs, optimizing expenses while maintaining service quality.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Prepare and manage staffing schedules, ensuring optimal coverage.
  • Maintain inventory levels and monitor supply chain logistics.
  • Address guest feedback promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure menu consistency and innovation.
  • Analyze P&L statements and implement strategies to meet revenue goals.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager, ideally in a Cantonese cuisine or fine dining setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training and development.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving operational goals.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and effectively manage complex challenges.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.

 

Level of Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • 36 months (3 years) in a similar role.
