Job Summary:      Looking for a Restaurant Cashier in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Greet customers in a warm and friendly way, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring attention to detail as well as order accuracy
• Process payments using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash, credit or debit transactions
• Resolve customer complaints or issues concerning transactions
• Balance cash registers at the beginning and end of each shift, reconciling any discrepancies and reporting issues to the supervisor
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of menu items, prices as well as promotions
• Prepare daily sales reports and submit them to the management team
• Handle cash and credit card transactions securely, following established procedures to prevent theft or fraud
• Keep the cashier station and surrounding area clean, organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies
• Conduct any other relevant tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Should hold a relevant Degree or Diploma
• Practical experience as a cashier required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions
• Must be familiar with cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints or issues calmly and professionally
• Must be flexible to work various shifts
• Any gender can apply
• Those in the UAE are preferred
