Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Vignette Collection. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to ensure our guests have a memorable dining experience, whether they are attending a large banquet or enjoying a casual meal.
Responsibilities:
- Direct, coach, and develop a team of hospitality professionals to achieve exceptional service standards.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences by setting high standards and identifying innovative ways to exceed them.
- Manage food and beverage operations across multiple outlets, including kitchens, banquet, and convention facilities.
- Collaborate with the finance team to set, monitor, and refine budgets while driving revenue growth.
- Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Develop and maintain seasonal menus that reflect local and international culinary trends.
- Monitor and control inventory and supplies to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Train staff on menu offerings, service techniques, and responsible alcohol service.
- Oversee event planning and execution, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements based on their suggestions to enhance service quality.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Maintain an awareness of competitor offerings and market trends to stay ahead in the industry.
- Prepare and present reports on food and beverage performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in food and beverage management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in the local language and English.
- Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and cost control practices.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service.
- A strong commitment to customer service and a passion for the hospitality industry.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning and event execution.
- Certifications in food safety and responsible alcohol service are preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Level of Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
Work Hours:
- Full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum 48 months of relevant experience in food and beverage management.
