Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Vignette Collection. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to ensure our guests have a memorable dining experience, whether they are attending a large banquet or enjoying a casual meal.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct, coach, and develop a team of hospitality professionals to achieve exceptional service standards.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences by setting high standards and identifying innovative ways to exceed them.
  • Manage food and beverage operations across multiple outlets, including kitchens, banquet, and convention facilities.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to set, monitor, and refine budgets while driving revenue growth.
  • Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
  • Develop and maintain seasonal menus that reflect local and international culinary trends.
  • Monitor and control inventory and supplies to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Train staff on menu offerings, service techniques, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Oversee event planning and execution, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements based on their suggestions to enhance service quality.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitor offerings and market trends to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Prepare and present reports on food and beverage performance, identifying areas for improvement.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in food and beverage management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in the local language and English.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and cost control practices.
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service.
  • A strong commitment to customer service and a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity and innovation in menu planning and event execution.
  • Certifications in food safety and responsible alcohol service are preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

 

Level of Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.

 

Work Hours:

  • Full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum 48 months of relevant experience in food and beverage management.
