Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Reservations Agent to manage guest inquiries, reservations, and ensure seamless coordination between departments. Your role will be vital in providing exceptional service while maximizing room sales and enhancing the guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to reservation inquiries via phone, email, or online booking systems.
• Provide accurate information on room availability, rates, special packages, and hotel services.
• Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications with precision, ensuring all details are accurate.
• Maintain an up-to-date reservation system, recording guest preferences and special requests.
• Assist guests with any special requests or issues, escalating as needed for resolution.
• Upsell and cross-sell hotel services such as room upgrades, dining, or other amenities to increase revenue.
• Communicate reservation details with front office, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Handle payment processing and secure guest information in accordance with hotel policies.
• Stay informed about hotel policies, promotions, and services to assist guests effectively.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in hotel reservations, front desk, or customer service roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in reservation software (such as Opera, PMS) and basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills with a guest-centric attitude.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.
