Job Summary:
The Ikandy Ultra Lounge Operations Manager at Shangri-La Dubai is responsible for overseeing the F&B operations of the outdoor bar and lounge. This role ensures high-quality food and service delivery, maximizes profitability, and enhances the guest experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high standards of food and beverage quality and service are consistently delivered to guests.
  • Drive revenue growth and maximize profitability for Ikandy Ultra Lounge through effective operational management.
  • Interact with customers to gather feedback and implement improvements in bar operations and service.
  • Maintain a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, managing the decor and overall ambiance of the lounge.
  • Coach and develop team members to enhance their performance and service delivery.
  • Organize and plan special events or promotions to engage guests and attract new clientele.
  • Monitor inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
  • Implement and uphold safety, hygiene, and operational standards in line with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to design innovative and appealing menu offerings.
  • Prepare reports on performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 24 months of experience in a luxury restaurant, lounge, or bar operation within a 5-star hotel environment.
  • Strong passion for food and beverage, with a commitment to exceptional guest service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in the local language is an advantage.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a friendly, approachable demeanor and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and solve problems effectively.
  • Experience in financial management and cost control within F&B operations.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail in service and presentation.

 

Level of Education:
Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field.

Work Hours:
Full-time, including shifts that may cover evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:
24+ months of relevant experience in luxury hospitality.
