Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operation of the bar ensuring all service standards are met in line with standard operating procedure.  Make suggestions to increase the market share for the Outlet thus optimizing profits and increasing sales.  Manage escalations and concerns and resolve them with support from the Outlet manager where needed, tracking, and notifying proper areas and responsible persons to guarantee memorable experiences for our guests.  Lead, motivate & continuously develop Junior Mixologists and Bartenders to maximize colleague productivity, departmental revenue, guest satisfaction & department COS scores, responsible for assisting the Outlet Manager in ensuring that all colleagues have full product knowledge Deliver the best in class drinks to specification consistently: have impeccable knowledge of all products in the portfolio and can make all drinks according to brand standards.  Have a good knowledge of all beverages beyond those stocked in the restaurant and a working knowledge of classic cocktails and drinks.  Identify & meet customer needs and expectations correctly, including those with special needs, and provide appropriate products, services or information. Meet all reasonable needs and requests of customers within specified time frames.  Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service.

Job Summary: An opportunity has arisen for a Mixologist - Food & Beverage in Jumeirah Al Naseem.

Requirements:

  • Five years of experience in the same position in a restaurant sector: within a 5-star hotel, luxury restaurant, or upscale bar setting.
  • Fluent in English - additional languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage applications: Micros and Sevenrooms
  • Extensive wine, cocktails and beverage knowledge.
