Responsibilities Maintain the hotel apartment facility, including the building, mechanical, electrical, FLS, HVAC systems, and related equipment, following energy conservation and maintenance programs. Ensure guest areas meet IHG standards. Conduct facility inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of all systems and equipment. Oversee routine maintenance in public spaces and ensure repairs, replacements, and renovations are completed in offices and work areas. Follow safety procedures in line with IHG, HACCP, Dubai Municipality, and Civil Defense standards. Manage energy conservation and preventive maintenance programs, providing safety and equipment training for staff. Schedule and supervise engineering staff. Keep FLS equipment in good condition. Handle office administration tasks, including responding to communications and special requests. Oversee engineers and maintenance colleagues. Plan, execute, and control maintenance tasks and sustainability initiatives. Organize and maintain important documents, bills, and receipts. Collaborate with CDOE for smooth operations. Manage vacation planning. Assist in creating the departmental budget and controlling expenses. Train staff on emergency and security procedures.

Job Summary:

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC Engineering

  • Minimum of four years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
  • Sound knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to identify and rectify subsystem faults.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
