Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Training Coordinator to support the learning and development initiatives within our hotel. You will be responsible for coordinating new colleague orientation, designing training materials, and ensuring the effectiveness of training programs, contributing to continuous improvement and professional development.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and coordinate the hotel’s New Colleague Orientation program and oversee the onboarding process.
• Monitor completion and submission of mandatory training for new hires.
• Assist in conducting Training Needs Analysis to identify skill gaps.
• Design and prepare learning materials using various instructional methods such as role-plays, group discussions, and videos.
• Develop and maintain the monthly training calendar.
• Conduct IHG technical training workshops for frontline colleagues.
• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with schools and universities to facilitate IHG Academy internships.
• Prepare and submit monthly training reports.
• Collaborate with Departmental Trainers to ensure required training activities are completed.
• Ensure optimization and compliance with IHG’s My Learning platform and brand standards.
• Consolidate data and monitor the progress of key hotel performance indicators related to learning and quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a luxury hotel, with familiarity in LQA or Forbes Standard Rating preferred.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Analytical, strategic thinking, and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
