Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Ambassador (Laundry) to lead and oversee laundry operations at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina. The ideal candidate will ensure all hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry services meet the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional with experience in laundry operations within a luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the linen room, reporting any damaged items to management.
• Oversee the sorting and distribution of clean uniforms and linen, ensuring proper placement on shelves and racks.
• Schedule preventive maintenance for laundry equipment and coordinate repairs with the engineering department as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and order laundry supplies in line with business needs and event requirements.
• Implement and standardize laundry processes to ensure efficiency and quality control.
• Recommend equipment, linen, and chemical purchases for budgeting purposes.
• Supervise the handling of guest laundry services, ensuring high standards of care and timeliness.
• Train and supervise the laundry team to ensure they follow all health and safety protocols.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping for laundry items, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist in implementing sustainability initiatives, reducing water and energy usage in laundry operations.
• Support other housekeeping functions as needed, ensuring seamless operations within the department.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star hotel or comparable industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and lead diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high performance standards and attention to detail.
• Technical proficiency in related laundry equipment and software systems is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Level of Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in housekeeping or laundry operations preferred.

Work Hours:

• Full-time, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:

• Minimum of 24 months in a similar role within a luxury hotel or related industry.
