Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Steward to join our Food & Beverage team. The Kitchen Steward will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by supporting kitchen staff and adhering to hygiene standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Clean food processing areas, storage rooms, walk-in refrigerators, and kitchen utensils.
  • Maintain cleanliness of corridors, holding areas, and operational equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Follow duty schedules and assigned shifts to meet operational needs.
  • Execute all stewarding tasks efficiently and as per standard procedures.
  • Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage of kitchen equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in kitchen waste disposal and proper recycling practices.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when restocking is needed.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Vocational training in Food & Beverage or related field.
  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
  • Basic command of English for effective communication with team members.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

 

Level of Education:

  • Vocational training in Food & Beverage or related field preferred.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, with flexibility for shifts including weekends and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum 12 months of experience as a Kitchen Steward.
