Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Room Service Supervisor to join our F&B team at One&Only The Palm Hotel in Dubai. The Room Service Supervisor will assist the IRD Manager in leading the team to deliver outstanding service, ensuring seamless room service operations, and exceeding guest expectations in a luxury environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily room service operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of orders to guest rooms.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate the room service team to maintain the highest professional standards in hospitality.
  • Ensure room service orders are accurately prepared, presented, and delivered within established service timeframes.
  • Oversee inventory management, restocking, and ensuring the availability of room service supplies.
  • Handle guest complaints, concerns, or special requests promptly, escalating to management if necessary.
  • Monitor team performance, providing feedback and support to ensure service excellence.
  • Collaborate with other departments (housekeeping, kitchen, etc.) to ensure smooth coordination of services.
  • Enforce strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in planning special room service promotions or events to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain detailed reports on room service operations, guest feedback, and staff performance.
  • Uphold the resort’s brand values and ensure all team members deliver service with warmth and precision.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Room Service Supervisor or in a similar capacity in a 5-star hotel or resort.
  • Strong understanding of luxury hotel operations and ability to manage high-pressure room service environments.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to guest service.
  • Experience handling VIP and high-profile guests with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations and room service best practices.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management certification is preferred.

 

Work Hours:
Full-time, with flexible shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

 

Experience in Months:
A minimum of 12 to 24 months in a similar role.
