Job Summary: Looking for an Inventory Controller in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Key Details:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate inventory records as well as optimize stock levels
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement as well as production teams to ensure adequate stock availability
- Carry out regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies as well as initiate corrective actions
- Evaluate inventory data and generate reports on stock levels, turnover rates as well as slow-moving or obsolete items
- Collaborate with relevant teams to forecast demand and set inventory targets based on sales trends, lead times as well as seasonality
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accurate quantities as well as timely delivery
- Work with logistics teams to optimize transportation and minimize costs while maintaining delivery timelines
- Coordinate stock movements between warehouses, distribution centers and retail locations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely execution
- Coordinate the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging as well as processing
- Forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability
- Evaluate and review supply chain data to identify and resolve issues
- Initiate and manage stock replenishment processes to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any issues to the supervisor
- Develop and implement inventory control systems as well as practices
- Liaise and negotiate with vendors as well as suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases
- Track inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS)
- Conduct any other related tasks as may be required
Job Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration or similar preferred
- Should have at least 2 years of experience in the same field
- Good knowledge of inventory management software required
- Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices
- Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities required
- Strong time management and organizational skills
