Job Summary:      Looking for an Inventory Controller in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate inventory records as well as optimize stock levels
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement as well as production teams to ensure adequate stock availability
  • Carry out regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies as well as initiate corrective actions
  • Evaluate inventory data and generate reports on stock levels, turnover rates as well as slow-moving or obsolete items
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to forecast demand and set inventory targets based on sales trends, lead times as well as seasonality
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accurate quantities as well as timely delivery
  • Work with logistics teams to optimize transportation and minimize costs while maintaining delivery timelines
  • Coordinate stock movements between warehouses, distribution centers and retail locations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely execution
  • Coordinate the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging as well as processing
  • Forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability
  • Evaluate and review supply chain data to identify and resolve issues
  • Initiate and manage stock replenishment processes to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report any issues to the supervisor
  • Develop and implement inventory control systems as well as practices
  • Liaise and negotiate with vendors as well as suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases
  • Track inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS)
  • Conduct any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration or similar preferred
  • Should have at least 2 years of experience in the same field
  • Good knowledge of inventory management software required
  • Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices
  • Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities required
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
