Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Accommodation Manager to oversee staff housing at voco Monaco Dubai, ensuring that all accommodations are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and provide a comfortable living environment. This role involves managing housing assignments, budgets, vendor relations, and ensuring health and safety standards are upheld.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the allocation, maintenance, and safety of staff accommodations, ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR to facilitate smooth onboarding by arranging housing and explaining accommodation rules and safety procedures to new hires.
  • Foster a welcoming and positive community atmosphere within staff housing, resolving any concerns or conflicts diplomatically.
  • Oversee daily operations of staff housing, including budget management, facility maintenance, and vendor coordination.
  • Analyze the local housing market to ensure our accommodation offerings remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Regularly inspect housing facilities, ensure timely repairs, and maintain high living standards to boost employee morale.
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental practices to ensure staff well-being and compliance with local regulations.
  • Develop and manage housing policies, ensuring they are clear, accessible, and adhered to by all residents.
  • Handle housing-related emergencies and ensure efficient resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Plan and coordinate staff relocations and ensure smooth transitions for employees moving between accommodations.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4-7 years of proven experience in accommodation or property management, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field. HR certification is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to address housing-related issues promptly and diplomatically.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of UAE labor laws, health and safety regulations, and property management best practices.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple housing assignments, budgets, and maintenance projects with attention to detail.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness of cultural diversity and the ability to foster a positive, inclusive living environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office and property management systems.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and adapt to the unique demands of Dubai's World Islands.
