Job Summary:
The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly, timely, and efficient service. This role requires extensive knowledge of menu offerings and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service, hygiene, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring excellent dining experiences.
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with licensing regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and dietary options.
- Ensure all food and beverage orders are prepared and delivered to a high standard.
- Keep the dining area and all service stations well-stocked, clean, and organized.
- Follow proper procedures for addressing guest complaints or issues.
- Comply with hotel security, fire safety regulations, and health and hygiene standards.
- Adhere to uniform and grooming standards, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
- Assist in setting up tables for events and clearing them efficiently after service.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Support team members and assist other departments as required to ensure smooth operations.

- Previous experience in cash handling and use of POS systems is an advantage.
Level of Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Hours:
- Full-time, flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum 12 months of experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
