Responsibilities Forward and receive department information to maintain standards. Enter and verify accurate room status in the computer daily. Update and maintain administrative data. Keep working areas and equipment clean and in good repair. Follow health, safety, and hygiene policies; adhere to grooming standards. Attend required meetings and training. Work effectively with diverse customers and colleagues. Build positive relationships with guests and anticipate their needs. Handle guest inquiries and problems, creating a positive image. Maintain product knowledge to sell services and provide information. Stay informed about hotel programs and events. Adhere to corporate conduct and housekeeping policies. Report issues to management with resolution suggestions. Follow OH&S policies and procedures, ensuring safety. Be familiar with safety, first aid, and emergency procedures. Collaborate with other departments for excellent service. Assist with deep cleaning, turndown duties, and other tasks as needed.

The InterContinental Hotels Group® properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotels. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1600 rooms, the four properties boast a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. Job Summary:

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience in hospitality or similar experience as a Housekeeping Coordinator in a 4* or 5* hotel
  • Telephone Etiquette
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Previous experience in payroll and purchase orders is an advantage.
  • Organizational skills.
