Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in guest rooms and public areas, providing a welcoming environment for our guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in guest rooms, corridors, and public areas, ensuring thorough cleanliness.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks, with attention to detail.
  • Change bed linens and towels as needed and replenish guest supplies, such as toiletries and refreshments.
  • Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and surfaces, ensuring a high standard of presentation.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the housekeeping cart and storage areas, ensuring all supplies are stocked.
  • Follow safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Assist guests with requests and respond to inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
  • Conduct inventory checks of cleaning supplies and report low stock levels to management.
  • Implement eco-friendly practices and promote sustainability in housekeeping operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in all cleaning activities.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving furniture as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and their safe usage.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic, demonstrating reliability and accountability.
