Job Summary:

The Hotel Host - Engineering is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and responding to guest requests to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment. You will support the Engineering team in maintaining hotel facilities, equipment, and systems while providing excellent service to guests and ensuring that all safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks throughout the hotel to ensure equipment and facilities are in proper working condition.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain hotel grounds, pool, and structures to meet operational and safety standards.
• Ensure all tools and maintenance equipment are functioning properly and stored correctly.
• Follow safety protocols, including key control and proper handling of chemicals.
• Inspect and clean guest rooms and public areas after maintenance work to meet hotel cleanliness standards.
• Assist in receiving and storing maintenance-related deliveries.
• Address emergency maintenance issues in a timely manner.

• Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks, including the use of hand tools and equipment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a guest and team-focused environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to anticipate and address guest needs.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete work within set deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks with high-quality standards.

Level of Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Hours:

• Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.

Experience in Months:

• Minimum 12 months of general maintenance experience or equivalent training.
