Job Summary:
The Guest Service Support Expert plays a vital role in ensuring that food and beverage operations run efficiently and that guests have a memorable dining experience. This position involves providing a range of services that support the overall guest experience, from assisting kitchen staff to maintaining cleanliness and order in dining areas.
Responsibilities:
- Set and reset tables according to restaurant standards and guest preferences.
- Assist the kitchen staff with food preparation and service tasks, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, and kitchen equipment to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Replenish supplies, including condiments, napkins, and utensils, to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor guest needs and proactively address requests or concerns to enhance their experience.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and notifying management of low supplies.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Support special events or promotions by helping with setup, service, and cleanup.
- Participate in training sessions to improve service skills and product knowledge.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors to maintain operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Previous experience in a food and beverage environment preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and policies.
- No supervisory experience required, but leadership potential is appreciated.
