Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Hostess to join our team at Cloud 22, Atlantis, The Royal. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This role requires exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a luxury setting.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and manage the seating arrangements for the restaurant.
- Provide accurate wait time estimates and monitor the waiting list.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure their needs are met throughout their visit.
- Maintain an organized reservation system and coordinate with service staff for efficient table turnover.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or special requests professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the hostess stand and entryway area.
- Ensure menus are clean, current, and available for guests.
- Work closely with the restaurant team to enhance the guest experience, ensuring high standards of service.
- Provide feedback on guest preferences or comments to management for continuous improvement.
- Participate in ongoing training to develop knowledge of the menu and service procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a hostess or in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests warmly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
- Multilingual abilities (e.g., Arabic, Russian, Chinese, French, etc.) are advantageous but not required.
Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plus.
Work Hours:
Full-time with flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience in Months:
Minimum of 24 months in a similar role within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment.
