Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Head Therapist to oversee the daily operations of our spa and sauna, delivering exceptional treatments and ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will lead the team in providing professional spa services, maintaining a safe and relaxing environment for all members and guests, while ensuring compliance with operational standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the spa, ensuring smooth delivery of services and treatments.
  • Perform a wide range of massage therapies and spa treatments, including reflexology, mud wraps, and specialized body therapies.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety are maintained in all spa and sauna areas.
  • Supervise and train therapists and support staff, ensuring consistent and high-quality service.
  • Coordinate with the Assistant Manager to manage the schedule of treatments and therapists.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure proper maintenance and repair as needed.
  • Monitor guest feedback and address concerns to continually improve service offerings.
  • Maintain detailed records of spa treatments, guest preferences, and feedback for continuous service improvement.
  • Promote and sell spa packages, products, and services to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Certified Spa Therapist with a strong background in massage therapies, reflexology, and body treatments.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role within a spa or wellness center, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to oversee multiple treatments and staff simultaneously.
  • Ability to mentor and motivate a team to deliver outstanding service consistently.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, additional languages are an advantage.

 

Level of Education:

  • Diploma or certification in Spa Therapy or related field.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 36 months experience in a spa or wellness environment, with at least 12 months in a supervisory role.
