Job Summary:
As a Head Hostess at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience by engaging in natural, personable interactions. You will work closely with the Bar and Dining teams to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and attended to in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a warm and hospitable atmosphere.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements, coordinating efficiently with the Bar and Dining teams.
  • Engage with guests, maintaining natural and friendly conversations without sounding scripted.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the restaurant, menu, and special offerings.
  • Ensure smooth and timely guest seating, minimizing wait times while maintaining the flow of service.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Work with the team to uphold cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Attend internal and external training courses to develop your hospitality skills and knowledge.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new team members, fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Support overall restaurant operations during peak hours, ensuring an efficient guest experience.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant environment.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong team player with a positive attitude.
    • Proven ability to engage with diverse guests and deliver exceptional service.
    • Knowledge of reservation systems and basic restaurant operations.
  • Education: International exposure in the field is a plus, but not required.
