Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for the bakery section to create high quality bakery products and introduce new recipes.

Main Duties

  • Ensure the highest standards of hygiene are being followed in the bakery section.
  • Prepare duty schedules, recruit, manage and train bakery staff.
  • To monitor operating supplies, reduce spoilage and wastage.
  • To assist in carrying out quarterly, bi-yearly, yearly inventory of operating equipment.
  • Ensure that all food safety standards/HACCP are maintained and implemented in line with the company policy and municipality requirements.
  • Adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
  • To carry out any reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
