Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for the bakery section to create high quality bakery products and introduce new recipes.
- Ensure the highest standards of hygiene are being followed in the bakery section.
- Prepare duty schedules, recruit, manage and train bakery staff.
- To monitor operating supplies, reduce spoilage and wastage.
- To assist in carrying out quarterly, bi-yearly, yearly inventory of operating equipment.
- Ensure that all food safety standards/HACCP are maintained and implemented in line with the company policy and municipality requirements.
- Adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
- To carry out any reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
