Job Summary:

As Head Baker you will be assisting the Pastry Chef and Executive Pastry Chef, to lead, manage and organize all requirements to the highest standards and in accordance with the standard operating procedures as implemented by the Executive Chef. You will be responsible to proper hygiene and sanitation, adequate stocks of food supply, have inter–department coordination and training. You must carry out the full responsibility of the operating equipment including its inventory levels. You will ensure that the resort food cost is maintained at all times. You will enforce set service standard procedures by directing, supervising, and motivating staff to perform to the highest level of service. You will be communicating with the guests and share feedback with the chef and management to confirm that the service quality and guest satisfaction are always maintained.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate must have minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef, Pastry or currently a Baker in an International luxury hotel or restaurant. The successful candidate must have culinary certificate and accredited education requirement.
