Job Summary:
We are looking for a Guest Services Officer - Spa Reception to ensure the efficient operation of the Spa within the Rooms Division, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards for guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests upon arrival and manage check-in/check-out procedures for Spa services.
- Provide detailed information on treatments, products, and Spa facilities, ensuring guests are well-informed.
- Coordinate and manage Spa appointments, ensuring smooth scheduling and optimal service delivery.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the reception and guest areas, ensuring a comfortable environment.
- Handle billing, payments, and administrative tasks related to Spa operations.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining stock levels for Spa products and supplies.
- Collaborate with therapists and other Spa team members to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring all practices are compliant with company policies.
- Promote additional services, treatments, or products to enhance revenue generation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar customer service role, preferably within a luxury hotel or Spa environment.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages such as Chinese, German, or Russian being a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and provide quick, effective solutions.
- Experience working in the UAE or knowledge of the region's hospitality market is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Hours:
Full-time position, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Experience in Months:
12 months (1 year) of relevant experience in Spa or hotel operations.
