Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Guest Services Executive to join our Concierge team. The role ensures the efficient operation of guest services, including managing guest communications, bookings, and concierge requests, to deliver exceptional experiences for our luxury hotel guests.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth operation of guest services, ensuring all guest inquiries, messages, and parcels are handled promptly and efficiently.
- Distribute guest messages, mail, parcels, and important communications within a 20-minute window.
- Assist guests with mail forwarding services and maintain records of forwarded or unclaimed mail.
- Ensure a wide range of booklets, guides, maps, and brochures are available and updated regularly for guest use.
- Provide postal services, including affixing stamps in the presence of guests.
- Ensure that the guest services desk is staffed and operational at all times.
- Handle airline reservations, ticket purchases, and confirmations through the hotel’s authorized travel agents.
- Ensure timely delivery of newspapers to guest rooms by 6:00 AM daily.
- Assist guests with concierge services, including restaurant bookings, transportation arrangements, and tour reservations.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and guest satisfaction, responding to all queries with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
- Act as a point of reference for guests needing local recommendations, directions, or special arrangements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in guest services or concierge roles within a luxury 5-star hotel environment.
- Proficient in English, with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of an additional language (Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian, German, Mandarin, or Greek) is a strong asset.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and processes.
Level of Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training or certifications preferred.
Work Hours:
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, depending on hotel occupancy and operational needs.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum of 12 months in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry.
