Job Summary:
As a Guest Service Officer - Front Office, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation at the reception desk within the Rooms Division. You will play a key role in providing a welcoming and efficient experience for guests, ensuring their needs are met during their stay.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out processes in a professional and friendly manner.
- Handle guest inquiries, provide information about hotel services, and respond to special requests efficiently.
- Manage room reservations and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain accurate guest records, process payments, and ensure proper handling of guest accounts.
- Resolve guest issues promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Provide concierge services, including booking transport, restaurant reservations, and tours.
- Support the Front Office team in delivering exceptional service in line with hotel standards.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Handle multilingual guest communication effectively if proficient in additional languages.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of front desk operations, reservation systems, and basic cash handling.
- Fluency in Arabic, Russian, German, or French is preferred.
Level of Education:
- A relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management is preferred.
Work Hours:
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in hotel operations or a customer-facing role.
