Job Summary:
We are looking for a Guest Service Agent to join the InterContinental Dubai Marina, a Five-Star luxury hotel. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding guest experience by managing the check-in/check-out process, handling guest requests, and coordinating with various departments to maintain the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities:

• Administer guest check-ins and handle special requests at arrival.
• Manage room assignments for guests, including VIPs, and ensure compliance with key control policies.
• Coordinate with concierge, reservations, sales, and valet services to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest communication, assist with inquiries, and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
• Monitor room availability and assist with managing guest credit limits and safe deposit boxes.
• Maintain records of vouchers, traveler’s checks, and currency conversions.
• Oversee the registration process, ensuring accuracy of guest personal information.
• Provide guests with room keys, coupons, and other materials, and assist with their registration and check-out processes.
• Handle emergency procedures, liaising with relevant departments when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services and promotions to efficiently assist guests.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Impeccable grooming and presentation.
• Ability to work flexible hours and rotating shifts.
• Team player with a strong customer service mindset.

Level of Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality is a plus.

Work Hours:

• Full-time, with rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:

• Minimum of 12 to 24 months of experience in a related role.
