Job Summary:
The Guest Experience Host is responsible for efficiently managing internal and external communications, ensuring guests receive courteous, accurate, and timely responses. This role involves handling guest inquiries, managing switchboard operations, and contributing to a seamless guest experience by providing information and assistance as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate switchboard consoles, paging systems, and associated computer equipment.
  • Connect local and international calls promptly and courteously.
  • Handle wake-up calls and emergency procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Relay messages for guests and hotel management personnel efficiently.
  • Provide general information to guests and answer incoming calls within three rings.
  • Record all manual charges for local and long-distance calls accurately.
  • Assist in maintaining guest history records and updating relevant information.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of telephone equipment and work areas.
  • Report guest complaints or concerns to the supervisor and Guest Experience Manager.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a quiet, professional working environment.

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle pressure and maintain discretion in all communications.
  • Positive attitude, reliable, and diplomatic with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong telephone and computer skills.

 

Level of Education:
Diploma/Degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management is desirable.

Work Hours:
Full-time, flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Experience in Months:
Minimum 12 months of experience in a related field.
