Responsibilities Address guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including inspection, cleaning, and lubrication. Carry and operate necessary tools and equipment. Locate and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utilities. Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and communicate daily activities to other shifts. Acquire and apply basic knowledge of various maintenance categories, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building. Perform surface preparation, painting, minor repairs, and thorough cleanups. Test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, plumbing, and electrical components. Program TVs and manage housekeeping and inventory duties. Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work. Maintain landscaping and sprinkler systems. Use basic computer skills for scheduling and temperature adjustments. Follow safety policies, report hazards, complete training, and store flammable materials properly. Maintain a clean, professional appearance and protect company assets. Welcome and assist guests, including those with disabilities, and ensure high service standards. Foster positive working relationships and communicate clearly with colleagues. Move, lift, and carry objects up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders. Enter work-related information into computers. Perform additional job duties as needed.

Job Summary:

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.

Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: Driver’s License
