Intercontinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa 

This is an exquisite opportunity for an experienced General Manager in the Luxury and Lifestyle sector to take on an exciting challenge to manage the Intercontinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa in the United Arab Emirates.

Located on the Hayat Island, surrounded by the sparkling shores of the Arabian Gulf and just a 45 minutes drive from Dubai, the resort offers an idyllic island living.
We are looking for an experienced Luxury Hotel General Manager and leader with significant expertise working in luxury hotels taking ownership of the day-to-day hotel direction, maximising financial returns, driving people development and empowering your team to create memorable guest experiences every step along the way.

Job Summary: You will need proven expertise in how you deliver a true luxury and lifestyle guest experience alongside knowing how to position the brand in the market.  You will drive and seek out opportunities to improve commercial performance and owner returns.

You will be a natural people leader, able to build trusting relationships that encourages and motivates your workforce.  You will develop a culture of innovation alongside your team and be commercially focussed, with a futuristic vision in line with the significant construction developments that are ongoing in the region.

 

Requirements:

  • Substantial prior luxury hotel general management experience is essential for this position
  • Genuine team development, guest, and owner focus
  • Strategic visionary is able to analyse market trends and put into action commercial winning strategies for growth
  • Must speak fluent English, with additional languages preferred
  • Expertise in the GCC countries an advantage
