Job Summary:
We are seeking a visionary and dynamic General Manager to lead our hotel operations with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving profitability, and fostering a positive and engaging work environment. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, from strategy development to daily management, ensuring that the hotel remains a market leader in service excellence.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve the hotel's objectives, ensuring market leadership and profitability.
  • Lead daily operations with hands-on involvement to ensure seamless service delivery across all departments.
  • Oversee the implementation of sales, pricing, and distribution strategies to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls to ensure consistency and high operational standards.
  • Mentor and develop managerial talent, driving employee engagement and reducing labor turnover.
  • Maintain strong relationships with guests, staff, owners, and asset managers to foster a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Proactively manage the hotel’s marketing, sales, and merchandising strategies to enhance brand visibility and attract new business.
  • Ensure compliance with financial goals, monitoring budgets, cost control, and revenue targets.
  • Drive innovation in guest services, enhancing the overall guest experience through creativity and leadership.
  • Manage all recruitment, training, and development initiatives, ensuring the hotel has the best talent to deliver exceptional service.
  • Lead the planning and execution of promotional activities, partnerships, and special events to drive additional revenue streams.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in hotel management, with a track record of success in driving operational excellence and profitability.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to design and implement effective business strategies.
  • Hands-on operational experience ensuring the smooth running of all hotel departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop managerial staff, with a focus on employee engagement and retention.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to sales, marketing, and business development to drive growth and increase brand visibility.
  • Solid financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, managing diverse teams and operations.
