Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Front Office Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth coordination across departments. This role involves leading shifts, maintaining service standards, and promoting a team-oriented environment. You will act as a key contact for guest communications and emergency responses, while ensuring the efficient operation of front office systems and procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all front office services and ensure operations follow departmental procedures.
  • Manage usage of front office systems, including PMS, credit card machines, and key systems.
  • Oversee guest check-in/check-out processes and address any outstanding issues from previous shifts.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by actively engaging with guests before, during, and after their stay.
  • Monitor hotel product quality, ensuring standards are maintained at the highest level.
  • Coordinate safety and security procedures and serve as the primary point of contact for emergencies.
  • Communicate guest preferences and VIP arrivals to relevant departments, ensuring special requests are fulfilled.
  • Foster teamwork across departments and promote a positive, collaborative working environment.
  • Execute night audit procedures and act as the Night Manager when on shift during night hours.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks and provide support to the team as needed to ensure smooth operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS or similar systems is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in hotel operations or hospitality.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible, team-player attitude.
  • Fluent in German and excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • A positive, outgoing personality with a natural drive for service excellence.
