Job Summary:
We are seeking dynamic and motivated Front Office professionals to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional, personalized service to guests from check-in to check-out, ensuring a memorable and seamless experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, courteous, and personalized service to all guests from arrival to departure.
- Greet guests by name, if known, and escort them to their rooms to ensure they feel welcomed.
- Assist guests with hotel familiarization, local information, and activity inquiries.
- Stay updated on hotel services, promotions, local events, and attractions to respond to guest queries effectively.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handling all transactions accurately using the Front Office system.
- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Monitor room rates and occupancy levels to maximize bookings.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Accurately process payments, post incidental charges, and maintain cashiering standards.
- Ensure smooth coordination with housekeeping and other departments for special guest requests.
- Assist in up-selling hotel services and rooms to enhance guest experience.
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Hospitality or related field.
- Previous experience in Front Office or a similar role within a hotel environment.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Front Office systems such as Opera is advantageous.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, outgoing personality with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a multicultural team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
