Job Summary:
A Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage outlets, ensuring high-quality service, maintaining standards, and achieving departmental targets. This role requires strong leadership to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth team coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations across food and beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Communicate and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring all responsibilities are met efficiently.
- Uphold brand standards for food quality, service, and guest experience.
- Manage guest queries, complaints, and special requests, providing prompt and professional responses.
- Collaborate with food and beverage management to achieve financial and operational targets, including cost control and sales growth.
- Assist with training, coaching, and development of team members to improve performance and engagement.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including fire and security standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering to ensure outlets are adequately stocked.
- Handle staff scheduling, ensuring coverage during peak times and balancing labor costs.
- Support cross-departmental collaboration and maintain positive working relationships with other hotel teams.
- Assist in implementing environmental and sustainability practices, such as reducing waste and promoting energy efficiency.
- Provide leadership during busy shifts, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in food and beverage operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve issues promptly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining brand standards.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations related to food service.
Level of Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in hospitality management or food service are preferred.
Work Hours:
- Full-time position, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum of 24 months of experience in food and beverage operations, with supervisory experience.
