Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at Atlantis, The Palm. You will support the delivery of an exceptional dining experience at The Shore restaurant, working closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure guests receive timely and attentive service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist waiters in delivering high-quality service to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Ensure food and beverages are served in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
- Stay knowledgeable about menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
- Prepare tables, silverware, and glassware for service and ensure all setups meet restaurant standards.
- Ensure smooth communication between the kitchen and service teams, relaying guest requests and feedback.
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables efficiently after guests have finished dining.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests with a polite and positive attitude.
- Follow company standards for health and safety protocols, including food handling and storage.
- Participate in pre-service briefings to stay informed about any daily specials, promotions, or changes to the menu.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar Food and Beverage role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse clientele.
- Strong team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
- Willingness to learn and maintain full knowledge of the food and beverage menu.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Knowledge of sanitation, food safety standards, and best practices.
Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional hospitality training or certifications are a plus.
Work Hours:
Full-time with flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Experience in Months:
Minimum of 12-24 months in a similar role within a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
