Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to ensure exceptional guest service and smooth day-to-day operations. The Supervisor will oversee staff performance, maintain quality standards, and ensure all areas of the establishment run efficiently. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support management in staff training and development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations to ensure guest satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Inspect staff grooming and attire, correcting deficiencies and maintaining uniform standards.
  • Oversee opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the facility.
  • Monitor dining areas for seating availability, guest safety, and service quality.
  • Conduct inventory checks, ensuring proper organization, stock levels, and FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
  • Assist with the hiring, training, and scheduling of staff; provide ongoing coaching, counseling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures.
  • Address guest needs and handle complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with management to identify ways to improve operational efficiency, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain positive relationships with staff, fostering teamwork and communication to meet service goals.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and oversee necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  • Perform safety inspections and report any potential hazards to the management.
  • Support team members during busy shifts and step in to assist as needed in all areas of operation.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in hospitality or customer service roles.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and motivate staff.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods, including moving through confined spaces and up and down stairs.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, FIFO procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Professional appearance and ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
