Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and driven Sales Executive to sell and promote the Food & Beverage outlets of InterContinental Hotels Group. The ideal candidate will establish and grow business accounts, convert leads into sales, and ensure that the offerings remain competitive in the market. You will play a key role in developing relationships with clients, coordinating events, and maintaining updated knowledge of the latest food and beverage trends.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell IHG Food & Beverage outlets to new and existing clients.
- Establish and maintain business accounts through action plans and relationship building.
- Convert sales leads into confirmed business, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a regular schedule of sales calls to solicit new business.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team and outlet managers to fine-tune offerings.
- Maintain extensive product and service knowledge of all F&B outlets.
- Entertain and engage with prospects and clients to drive sales and sustain business.
- Be present during events to ensure smooth execution and support both the team and client.
- Conduct post-event follow-up to gather feedback and strengthen client relationships.
- Prepare contracts and follow financial procedures, ensuring compliance with hotel policies.
- Monitor competitor offerings and provide constant feedback to chefs and managers.
- Prepare and present sales reports regularly.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury property.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A warm, engaging personality with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to handle pressure and think clearly in high-stress situations.
- Passion for food and curiosity for new trends and innovations.
- Basic organizational skills in restaurant operations.
- Sales-driven, ambitious, and target-oriented mindset.
- Additional language skills are preferred but not essential.
