Responsibilities Culinary Responsibilities: Prepare special meals or substitutes, regulate cooking temperatures, and thaw frozen food. Ensure proper portions, garnishing, and food arrangement; maintain food logs. Monitor food quality and quantity, and communicate needs during busy periods. Inform Chef of excess items for specials and update service staff on menu changes. Cook and prepare food according to recipes and standards, including cold foods. Team and Compliance Duties: Assist in hiring, training, and managing staff; serve as a role model. Follow safety policies, report issues, and maintain a clean, professional appearance. Protect company assets and uphold confidentiality. Address guest needs and communicate professionally. Support team goals, ensure quality standards, and perform additional tasks as needed. Be physically active, handling objects up to 25 pounds.

Office Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, determine their needs, and direct or escort them to their destination.
  • Handle routine correspondence, including opening, reading, preparing replies, and attaching necessary files.
  • Take and distribute meeting minutes, manage incoming/outgoing mail, and maintain filing systems.
  • Transmit information via computer, mail, or fax, and prepare documents using various software.
  • Enter and retrieve data from databases and operate standard office equipment.
  • Document and relay guest requests or complaints to the appropriate personnel.

Team and Compliance Duties:

  • Follow company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and protect company assets.
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and respond appropriately to concerns.
  • Communicate clearly, answer phones with proper etiquette, and assist guests with their needs.
  • Handle objects up to 10 pounds and perform other tasks as needed.
