Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in compliance with safety standards and building codes. This role requires a proactive approach to electrical maintenance, ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the hotel's electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in compliance with building and safety codes.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair all mechanical and electrical heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Maintain and repair electrical distribution systems, including single and three-phase power supplies, and in-house power installations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all electrical systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the hotel’s electrical infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to electrical issues in guest rooms, service areas, and back-of-house spaces, resolving them to minimize downtime.
• Support the emergency systems including fire alarms, lighting, backup power, batteries, and generators, ensuring they are always operational.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to install, maintain, or upgrade electrical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits using tools such as multimeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes to diagnose and repair malfunctions.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment used are properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to support other technical services as needed, including minor mechanical repairs.
• Assist with the planning and execution of electrical installations for new projects or renovations.
• Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in electrical maintenance to improve efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in electro-technical services or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrician, with a deep understanding of electrical systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and the ability to interpret technical documents such as blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment, including power tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication and understanding of technical instructions.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to unexpected situations and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that may involve heavy lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety protocols.
