Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and guest experiences. You will lead a team to ensure high standards of service, resolve guest issues, and support overall hotel performance, while promoting a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily guest interactions, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Oversee team performance, providing guidance and development to drive results and maintain hotel standards.
- Handle guest complaints, queries, and suggestions promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate hotel operations, prioritizing tasks and workloads to ensure efficient service.
- Act as the first point of contact for any emergency situations, ensuring guest and staff safety.
- Develop staff skills through coaching and hands-on leadership to enhance service quality.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent education; some college preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of front desk or guest service leadership experience.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems like Opera is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift heavy items.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
