Role Summary 

The Director Data Strategy & Reporting, EMEA is the lead for data strategy, data science, data engineering and commercial performance monitoring in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The role leads a team of data experts and is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating data-related strategy and adoption of data products.

The Director DSR leads projects with stakeholders and partners to develop and implement commercial strategies and ensures clear communication, integration of data analytics, product catalogue and technology with our data platforms and related capabilities.

Skills and experience we will look for in the ideal candidate to join our team:

  • Proven track record of strong communication, presentation, and consulting skills with experience leading a team to successful outcomes.
  • Competence in developing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across the organization.  Fostering a positive climate to build effective teams that are committed to organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Well-versed in updating stakeholders on key initiative wins and opportunities, responding to concerns, and solicits feedback.  Engaging leadership to develop and execute action plans to address gaps.
  • Proficiency in managing change and problem solving with well-versed in organizational capability with a global and structured mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity.
  • Seven or more years of experience demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance in project management, data management, analytics, or data warehousing technology.
  • Experience with design and engineering of complex data flows and systems in the analytics.
  • Proven experience in managing and executing Cloud Data Warehouse (Snowflake), Data Analysis/Programming languages (SQL, Python) and Data Visualization (Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Work experience in hospitality leadership roles with a deep understanding of commercial hotel KPI’s is a strong preference.
