Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a professional pastry and bakery kitchen, ideally within a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Diploma or certification in culinary arts, pastry, and bakery, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pastry and bakery techniques, including dough preparation, cake decorating, and chocolate work.
- Ability to develop and present innovative pastry and bakery items that are visually appealing and flavorful.
- High level of precision in measuring, mixing, and presenting baked goods and desserts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards in the kitchen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the kitchen's schedule.
- Capability to endure long hours standing and performing physically demanding tasks in a busy kitchen setting.
